Choosing "Essential only" also deletes the analytics and ad-measurement cookies already set in this browser. Your choice is remembered for 12 months, then we ask again.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" is similar but stays on your device and is never sent to us automatically. Some cookies are set by us (first-party), others by services we use (third-party). Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, the EU and UK GDPR and the EU and UK ePrivacy rules, we only use non-essential cookies with your consent.
3. Essential cookies
These make the site work and keep it secure. They cannot be switched off, and they do not track you across other websites.

5. Optional cookies (only with your consent)
None of these are set until you choose "Accept all" or "Allow optional cookies".

6. Services that load content
Some parts of a page are delivered by outside services. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address and basic browser information, as with any website request. They do not set cookies on geob.co.ke for us.
- Google Translate: only when you pick a language other than English.
- OpenStreetMap: map tiles on safari and destination pages.
- Google Fonts, jsDelivr, unpkg and the Tailwind CSS CDN: fonts, icons and page code.
- WhatsApp: only if you tap a WhatsApp button, which opens WhatsApp under its own terms.
7. Other ways to control cookies
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop forms and sign-in from working. Google offers an opt-out add-on for Google Analytics, and you can manage ad preferences in your Meta Accounts Center.
8. Changes and contact
