1. About these terms
By using geob.co.ke you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. They work alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. When you book a safari, our Booking Terms & Conditions and Cancellation & Refund Policy apply to that booking.
2. Who we are
geob.co.ke is run by:
- Geob Ventures, a safari tour operator established in 2013 and based in Nairobi, Kenya.

In these terms "Geob Ventures", "we", "us" and "our" mean that business, and "you" means anyone using the site.
3. Information, prices and availability
- Prices are guides until we quote. Safari prices on the site are "from" prices per person, shown per day and for the whole trip, in US dollars, for two people sharing in the season stated. Your written quote sets the actual price for your dates, group and choices.
- Itineraries are examples. Routes, timings and activities show how a trip usually runs. Wildlife sightings, weather, road and airstrip conditions and the season can change what happens on the day.
- Availability is confirmed only in writing. Showing a safari on the site does not mean space, permits or flights are available for your dates.
- Travel information is general guidance. Visa, health, fees and entry rules are set by governments and change. We keep the site current, but check the official sources and your own government's travel advice before you travel. Our booking terms explain what we do to help.
- Mistakes. If a price or detail on the site is clearly wrong, we will tell you before you book and you can choose not to go ahead. We are not bound by an obvious error.
4. Accounts
You can use most of the site without an account. If you create one, keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. You must be 18 or over to hold an account or book. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud or abuse, or has been inactive for more than three years. You can ask us to close your account at any time.
5. Roho and our AI planning tools
Roho, our trip assistant, and the planning tools in Safari Lab use artificial intelligence (currently Google Gemini) to suggest ideas, itineraries, budgets and packing lists.
- Answers are generated automatically and can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. They are ideas to discuss with our team, not quotes, bookings, or medical, legal or visa advice.
- A price, availability or promise from Roho is not an offer. Only a written quote from our team is.
- Please don't type sensitive personal information (passport numbers, health details, payment card details) into Roho or the tools.
- What you type is sent to our AI provider to produce the answer and is kept in our records as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Don't use the tools to generate unlawful, harmful or misleading content, or try to make them reveal hidden instructions or other people's information.
6. Reviews and content you send us
If you post a review, photo or other content, it must be honest, your own (or you must have permission), lawful and respectful of other people's privacy. You keep ownership, and you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to show, translate and share it on our website and social media in connection with Geob Ventures. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience; we don't pay for, edit the meaning of, or selectively hide genuine reviews. We may remove content that breaks these terms. Photos of other travellers or of local communities should only be posted with their consent.
7. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use the site for anything unlawful, including fraud or impersonating Geob Ventures or our staff;
- send false enquiries or bookings, or other people's details without their permission;
- copy or scrape the site, its itineraries, prices or photos in bulk, or use automated tools to collect data from it;
- try to break into, overload or disrupt the site, its forms or its systems, or upload malicious code. Doing so may also be an offence under Kenya's Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, 2018;
- use the site to send spam or unsolicited advertising.
8. Intellectual property
The site's text, itineraries, design, logos, maps and code belong to Geob Ventures or the people who licensed them to us. Some photographs are used under licence from their owners. You may view and print pages, and share links, for your own trip planning. You may not reproduce, sell or republish our content for commercial purposes without written permission. "Geob Ventures" and our logo are our brand; please don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.
9. Links and outside services
The site links to and uses outside services, such as WhatsApp, Google Translate, maps and government visa sites. We don't control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data; their own terms apply. Machine translations of our pages are provided for convenience. If a translation differs from the English text, the English text applies.
10. Our liability for the website
We work to keep the site accurate, secure and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by relying on general information on the site rather than on your written quote and booking confirmation, or by the site being temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under Kenya's Consumer Protection Act, 2012, or your statutory rights as a consumer. 11. Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies in our Cookie Policy.
12. Governing law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If a dispute can't be settled by talking to us, it may be brought before the courts of Kenya, without affecting any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live. We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you use the site applies, and the date at the top shows the last change. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
